A suburban garden overflowing with flowers
We ’re in Northridge , California today , visit with Terry Sanders :
I hold out and garden in a very ordinary suburban neighbourhood . This is a photo of part of myfront yardwithrosesand butterfly bush(Buddleia davidii , Zone 5- 9 ) in efflorescence .
This is a photo of one of theparking stripsin front of my house . During the Covid lockdown I remove all of my grass and installeddrip irrigationand mostlypollinator works . The pink flower are gaura(Oenothera lindheimeri , Zone 5 – 9 ) andPenstemondigitalis(Zone 3 – 8) .
The parking strip in summer . A red grow blooms with a blue salvia that seem likeSalviauliginosa(Zone 6 – 9 )
I am very favorable to have verygood soilbecause I live on a creek that used to flood during the wintertime before it was cement in . Pretty much everything grows .
My front chiliad . I like to collect old wooden chairs and paint them

elaborately model tiles add even more color .
