Swooning over Dahlias and Roses in Vancouver

Lilian Ho ’s Garden in Vancouver , BC is swoonworthy ! Such a wonderful manner to kick back of the weekend !

" My front garden is about 1,500 substantial feet including the bed on the Boulevard and is situated at a south - west quoin . The garden is about 12 years old but I have spent 5 years making it because I used to put to work full metre and have two children . My background is mechanical and civil engineering and can draw sophistical 2D or three-D to descale electronics garden design drawings but I have done none of it . I cultivate most roses and dahlias and put gloss on the opposite of the coloration wheel next to each other . instal roses and dahlias are very drought resistant and has done very well despite our piss limitation over the summertime months .

Attached photos are the garden in late October and early November of this year . Neighbors and passersbys often narrate me how they relish my garden and take exposure of it . Some railroad car will blockade and horn and let down their window and give me a pollex up . Some people take me if I am in any of the flush competitions ? I have not , and do n’t intend to do so mainly because it want lot of lachrymation . "
