I ’m agreeably surprised at what a little gold paint can do totransform a plain , old flowerpot . My new “ gilty ” pleasance is to gilt everything in sight , because the results are so brilliant in such a short period of meter . With a routine of experiment and some unlike textured pots , I think these gold - paint flowerpots are the most expensive - see transformation I have done !
The roof of the can of gold spraying - paint has a mirror - like finish and I think if I could get that kind of refulgency , it would put the humble terracotta flowerpot on a whole new level . I was n’t hopeful about the results , knowing full well that terracotta ’s porous mud and buffed grain would be pretty hard to get a glassy gleam on . The results , however , were beautiful .
I used three dissimilar pots to examine the terminal facial expression .

1 . a brand new pot with no grain
2 . a can with a slight sweep grain
3 . an older potty that had some weathering

After I tested the terracotta , I decided to give some plastic baby’s room pot a shot of paint to see how they would grow out . Now here is where the conjuration really pass off .
These plastic lot that cost nothing would normally get tossed in the recycling bin after the industrial plant made their way into the garden . However , with a coat of golden paint , these pots look 24 - kt beautiful ! And the shine . Oh , the shine . Using these plastic tidy sum gives them that mirror - similar shine that gain them look top - shelf .
