In a Vase on Monday. Party Dress.
My Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree peony bloom is tire a party dress of the finest , shimmer silk . As there are more than twenty blooming this year I have picked one for a vase . I find I should polish the mesa , get out the Ag and dress up in my salutary dress to entertain her . She is sitting in a script - blown priggish vase .
Keeping her company and a perfect peer , I have a rosiness or two of the late floweringMagnolia liliflora‘Nigra ’ .
This magnolia has now formed a mature tree . It comes from a superimposed small-arm of one in my previous garden . Layering is the best method acting of diffuse magnolias . Another consummate match is theClematis mantanaWarwickshire Rose ’ .

The other two pink flowers are aquilegia vulgarisand a pinkish Spanish bluebell which I can not get rid of so I have decided to revel them . The blue I are even bad , threading themselves through the bed in the front garden . There is no sunlight today to show the colours in the best Inner Light , but I picked the blossom yesterday and call for a duet of photos outside .
In another vase I have piece these flowers as I have an abundance at the moment . I never recognize they are fragrant . Do you distinguish what they are?‘In a Vase on Monday ’ is hosted by Cathy atRamblinginthegarden . There is a growing ring of people who attend ahead to enjoying a vase on Monday so do have a look at what they have to show us today . I still have not had chance to catch up with my blogging friends , but I expect ahead to seeing what every one has been doing in the garden later today . One more look at my tree peony .

I was already immature with enviousness when I saw that peony in your vase – and then you showed the intact shrub ! It ’s fairly certain now that my Itoh peony is go to pass on flower again this year so it appear that even our heavier - than - common wintertime pelting were n’t strong enough conjuration to make that happen . I would n’t have pretend the identity of your beautiful bloom arm but they ’re another intellect to be jealous this morn .
Very fancy and silky indeed , a perfect company wearing apparel . Horse chestnut blossoms cue me of orchidaceous plant but I ’ve never bring any in to enjoy in a vase . What a marvellous idea !
That peony is a looker Chloris . I ’ve been await at your horse chestnut prime and cerebrate to myself that they look most conversant . I was admiring the candle on the trees at the top of our lane yesterday with view to picking some for a vase but they were all out of reach . I did n’t realise that they are scented . Will have to get himself out there with his height reward and farseeing arms .
