“ I HAD TO state YOU THIS : my grandfather was a Rural School teacher . He was born in 1897 in Paraguay from a Sicilian Turkish family that emigrated to South America .

We always had an orchard and vegetable garden and a little battlefield for yuca , mellisonant potatoes , corn , watermelons , melons and squashes , so we seldom buy vegetables or eggs and volaille .

In those times we had “ latrines ” and quite far from the primary house , so always every youngster had a “ washbasin ” or container to use with natural covering to employ in case of penury .

For me this was normal , since no child will go in the middle on Nox 100 to 300 ft away in the dark night or rainfall to the bathroom , but those latrines fill quite tight , lasting 3 - 5 years , maybe less , bet on depth . ( Then ) we made a young one , and we filled the one-time one with dirt and curtilage debris until it look like a little mountain . When we ’d go again to correspond , there would be a depression and we would refill it from the poulet coop , cow manure , and we ’d clean the pace and fill the mess and again we ’d create a little mountain with grease on top .

When we went to check again and it was level ( these holes were well 6 ft x 6 ft ) , then grandpa would say it was quick to put the banana tree flora there . Those bananas had flowers and little banana tree ( all the way to the ) ground , grandpa said !

Bananas only fill the flowers if the land is super rich ; pitiable land produce short row of bananas . These banana were the amazement of the neighbourhood , but grandpa never told them they were planted over our former latrine !

Every banana cluster was planted on former latrines , so far as I know , because my grandad believed they would acquire the near bananas and we did not have but about 2 - 3 acres only of available land . ”

What a beautiful story .

We serve an amazing God , who can even utilize the vilest of things to bring yield . We pass multiple years using composting can system of rules , and we lived . And grow plenty of crop with our so - predict “ waste . ” The well - looking bananas I ever saw were growing next to a leak infected storage tank !

The entire system of nature was designed as a recycling machine , turning old into new , again and again .

When mass were getting nervous about fertilizer shortage , I escape from my psyche . Sure , bag plant food is convenient , but for almost all of commemorate history humanity grew food just fine without chemical help .

you could literally poop in a hole and grow food on top of it . And all the weeds can be made into compost teas . And seaweed washes up every 24-hour interval . And cows are compost - making machines .

Fertilizer is abundant . It ’s our cerebration that is inferior .
