Roses, hydrangeas, and more
Today ’s photograph are from Eric and Christopher Feml - Nelsen .
We are located in the Capitol Region of New York State , in a suburb of Albany cry Halfmoon . We garden in Zone 5b . Our summertime can be very hot and VERY humid , but our winters can also be passing cold .
We have been garden since 2018 . We built a new dwelling in a arm and were given the opportunity to commence our garden from kale . We have a savourless , sandlike quite a little with full sunlight . Everything in our garden has been implant within the last four years , most of it in the last two or three .

We are very majestic of thetransformationwe have made to our yard . We are also gallant that we are both self - taught nurseryman . Throughout the last four year we have had plenty offailures . Most of them involvedoverwateringplants and killing them . At one point we were sure that the sad , wilt butterfly bush just postulate MORE water to thrive . Boy , were we wrong !
We face onwards to seeing our garden suppurate . There will most in all probability be a need to move some things as they get bragging than anticipated , or spacing becomes an issue . We will be ready to tackle it when that day comes .
Our ‘ Limelight ’ hydrangea(Hydrangea paniculata‘Limelight ’ , Zones 3–8 ) hedging is made up of fifteen shrubs in total .

This gomphrena(Gomphrenaglobosa , annual ) wasgrown from seedthis class .
Here are some of ourcontainerson the back terrace . Thehydrangeain front was just a cut from thehedge .
We love evergreens . The ‘ Vanderwolf ’ pine(Pinusflexilis‘Vanderwolf ’ , geographical zone 3–7 ) and cry Norway spruce(Piceaabies‘Pendula ’ , Zones 2–8 ) are two of our ducky .

This arch is the entranceway to our garden . We recently planted two ‘ Generous Gardener’roseson it .
Colors andtexturesare our main focussing when designing and settle placement .
‘ Vanessa Bell ’ is one of our favourite rosiness .

Here ’s a look at our easterly border .
