Making a beautiful yard by trial and error
Today we ’re confabulate Lila Johnson ’s garden .
salutation from my garden in Mill Creek , Washington , about 20 mile north of Seattle . Our June and July have been wetter and chillier than normal for this time of year , but our perennials and annuals seem to be thrive . We wish for warm weather , especially in the evenings so we can relish our terrace surround by flowers and hummingbird ! Ah well , there ’s always August !
Our age ( 77 and 76 ) and the pandemic have kept us at menage pretty much , and so our garden looks well manicured and loved . My knee is bad , but my husband does a circumstances of walking and secure me our yard is the prettiest in the locality ! I implant , and my husband maintains our rather expectant yard . I raise up watching my female parent garden , and I ’m thrilled to say my 40 - something daughter has surprised me by loving to garden also .
I ’m not an expert , although I ’ve learned a caboodle from our local garden nine , of which I ’ve been a penis for 12 years . test and error whole kit . I had to move several hardyfuchsiasto a less shady location where they thrive and lure the hummingbird .
