It ’s not that the cinema is perfect … it ’s just that it ’s wholly encouraging . Back To Edenis one of those cut of aspiration that makes you want to jump up about half - way of life through and reinvent your garden .

The Back To Eden Story

Paul Gautschi , a Christian arborist with a small farm , has been doing everything the hard way … that is , the conventional way . Tilling , hoeing , pulling rocks , irrigating and suffering through poor issue and low rain is just the way things are … until he learn from God and a whole new dangerous undertaking begins .

Through the film , we get word Paul uses slight to no irrigation … has almost no job with weeds … does n’t have asymmetry in his grease … and yields Brobdingnagian , disease - costless vegetables with consistency .

His ebullience is infectious and his memorization of Scripture impressive . When things get ugly , Paul is the sorting of guy you ’d want survive next door .

As the film progresses , we listen from various expert about their scene on soil , irrigation , organic ontogenesis and Paul ’s methods . One of those is his usance of dirt from his chicken run … he remark the amazing job chickens do of breaking down scraps into rich soil and put forward the ball are “ just a byproduct . ”

We also get to see inside other farms that are still struggling with more formal produce techniques and the comparison is n’t flattering .

And The Plot Thins

For fledgling , though , it ’s just okay . In fact , one of the ground I bought the forcible DVD is so I can share it with my less greenish - thumbed Quaker and relatives and open their eyes to new possibility for their railway yard .

One rather entertaining segment features Paul sharing his produce with visitors , including a male child from China who basically eats his weight in green groceries .
